The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the superior range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large range of clients/beneficiaries SRD to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and status sassa there's no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance level produced for intervention activities a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
